Holiday Door Decorating Contest
-
Mt. Savage school held a holiday door decorating contest, and each classroom had the opportunity to participate in an effort to win a pizza party just prior to the Christmas break. Two winners are selected by a panel of judges - one at the elementary level, and one at the middle school level. The volunteer judges for this year's contest were Dr. Eric Van Slyke, ACPS Science Supervisor; Mr. Zachary Stickley, Lt. in the West Virginia National Guard; Mr. Randy Murray, local resident; Mr. Teddy Abucevicz, 1951 Mt. Savage graduate; and Mrs. Betsy Green, ACPS Title I Specialist.
Additionally, the judges, staff, and students were treated to musical performances by the school's choir and band.
