Community Dinner
-
On Wednesday, October 19, 2022, Beall Elementary School and Frostburg United Methodist Church held their first community meal at the school. Thirty-five families were treated to a wonderful chicken dinner and fun games coordinated by Frostburg United Methodist Church members, Beall staff, and numerous volunteers from Frostburg State University. There were more than 100 students and family members in attendance. The evening's activities included games in the meal room with Pastor Durbin, relay races in the gym, pumpkin decorating in the library, and math games with Mrs. Ross. Each family was able to spend time building relationships with the school staff, FSU students, and the congregation of Frostburg United Methodist Church. The evening was a huge success, and Beall Elementary School plans to continue building relationships and partnerships throughout the community.
