Grandparents' Day was September 11, 2022, and Northeast Elementary School took the opportunity to recognize and celebrate the importance of grandparents and their involvement in their students' lives. On Tuesday, September 13, 2022, and Wednesday, September 14, 2022, the school welcomed grandparents to join their grandchildren for a picture craft activity that they were able to work on collaboratively with the guidance and assistance of classroom teachers. Northeast provided all of the necessary materials to make a pumpkin picture holder to take with them as a momento of Grandparents' Day.
