Bri Murphy and Sage Harris
-
Bri Murphy and Sage Harris are seniors at Mountain Ridge High School and are enrolled in the Biomedical Program, Project Lead the Way. This program allows them to complete a capstone project for their final year of the program. As a team, the pair decided for their capstone project to fundraise for Breast Cancer Awareness. With the help of their mentors, Leesa Blank, Rebecca Byzon, and Tommelynn Raines, they raised money during the month of October 2022. All proceeds from the fundraiser went towards the Zlomek Perseverance in Mathematics Award in memory of former Mountain Ridge teacher, Ms. LeeAnn Zlomek. Their fundraiser consisted of selling pink breast cancer bracelets at Mountain Ridge sporting events during October.
