Inclement Weather Virtual Learning Plan – 2024-2025

1. Senate Bill 610- Virtual Education Days for A Severe Weather Event

The district has built in three days for school closures for severe weather conditions at the end of the school year.

A virtual education day must consist of not less than four hours of synchronous instruction and asynchronous instruction designed to maximize the advantages of online access. 

First Three District-Wide Inclement Weather Day- ACPS Schools are closed

District-Wide Inclement Weather Days in 2024-2025-

Four (4) hours synchronous Instruction with the afternoon set aside for asynchronous instruction

Built-In Inclement Weather Days at the end of the calendar for the first three inclement weather days.

As always, students without access to connectivity will be allowed up to two days following a closure to submit assignments to be counted present for a particular class.
