Students in Mr. Isom’s art classes are currently learning the process of creating value on a value scale from light to dark. Students have been working to create value spheres, which is the process of taking a regular circle and giving it a shadow with light and dark values, making it look similar to a 3-D object on the page. Students use this process to then create portraits of a person’s face.
