Ella Snyder, a senior at Mountain Ridge High School, is enrolled in the biomedical program from Project Lead the Way. For her final year of the program, she completed a capstone project in which she was given the opportunity to tour an OBGYN women’s health office at UPMC Western Maryland. While she was there, she was able to interview several doctors as well as meet the office staff. According to Ella, "This experience gave me plenty of information to complete my capstone project about the effect that community health centers have on women’s health."
