Parkside Elementary School welcomed grandparents to school to celebrate Grandparents' Day, which was nationally recognized on September 11, 2022. Parkside took the opportunity to recognize and celebrate the importance of grandparents and their involvement in their students' lives. While at the event this year, grandparents had the chance to play bingo and make a picture holder craft with students, enjoy snacks outside at the pavilion, and have a fall photo taken with their grandchildren. Parkside provides all of the necessary supplies and will provide the photo for families to display on the picture holder craft. Additionally, the school's PTA held a fall basket raffle.
