Flintstone Elementary School held its 1st Annual Walk-A-Thon on Friday, October 28, 2022, in an effort to raise money for school activities this school year. The event was a huge success with students raising more than $5,000! Flintstone staff and students enjoyed their time spent walking together, and the University of Maryland Extension Office attended with pedometers, water, and a healthy snack. 

The students who raised the most money in the primary and intermediate grades received a $100 gift card from Walmart. For each $10 raised, students received a chance to win a prize basket.
