Chase has enrolled in a number of AP, Honors, and college classes, including Honors English I and II, government, geometry, algebra II, trigonometry, pre-calculus, biology, chemistry, genetics, anatomy and physiology, and Spanish III; AP English literature and composition, world history, U.S. history, environmental science, and calculus; and college computer science, English, biology, chemistry, sociology, speech, and psychology. He is a member of the soccer, track and field, basketball, and bocce ball teams, the National Honor Society, the Ridge’s Scholar Club, and the yearbook staff. Chase is a Carson award winner, has earned several Minds in Motion awards, earned the Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish, and is a Rotary Club Student of the Month. He is a graduate of Leadership Allegany Rising, volunteers his time with cancer walks, and works part-time at Walmart and Moran’s Lawn Care. Chase plans to attend FSU, WVU or the University of Maryland and hopes to pursue a degree in chemistry.
