Zander has taken a number of AP and Honors courses, including AP human geography, English literature and composition, calculus, U.S. history, U.S. government and politics, world history, and computer science, as well as Honors English I and II, algebra II, trigonometry, pre-calculus, geometry, earth space science, and biology. He is a member of the soccer team and the National Honor Society, he consistently makes the honor roll, and is a Rotary Club Student of the Month. Zander volunteers his time with the Storybook Holiday, at blood drives, and by delivering Christmas cards to nursing home residents. He plans to major in environmental science in college and hopes to pursue a career as a paleontologist or as a scientist studying the impact humans have on the environment.
