Carly has taken a number of AP and Honors courses, including AP chemistry, calculus, statistics, U.S. history, language, and psychology, as well as Honors chemistry, trigonometry, Spanish IV, and college-level English. She is the secretary of the Student Council, the secretary of the National Honor Society, the soccer captain, and a member of the basketball and track teams and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Carly was a state champion in the discus for track and field, the Junior Female Athlete of the Year, a Rotary Student of the Month, and the co-WESTMAC Player of the Year for basketball. Carly also volunteers her time with the Holding Hands for Haley Foundation. She plans to attend a four-year college or university and her future plans are currently undecided.
