Alex Kennell
Allegany High School

Alex has enrolled in Honors English I, II, and III, biology, chemistry, geometry, algebra II, trigonometry, pre-calculus, Spanish III, and modern world history, as well as AP government, environmental science, and U.S. history. He is currently enrolled in college level English, algebra, probability and statistics, speech, and psychology. Alex is the co-captain of the football team, a team leader in unified track, and a member of the baseball and basketball teams, and the National Honor Society. He has won several Minds in Motion awards, made All-Area for baseball and football, and is in the Allegany Gridiron Academic Honors Club, FCA, and earned a Rivalry Series Scholarship award. Alex also volunteers his time as an NHS tutor, at the Hooley Plunge, with the autism walk, as a mentor to youth, with recycling programs, and making and delivering cards to nursing home residents. He is an umpire for Dapper Dan Little League and enjoys hunting and fishing. Alex plans to attend Frostburg State University and hopes to pursue a career in the wildlife and fisheries biology field.
