Hana is currently enrolled in AP physics, Honors choir and Historical Research Methods, and college-level calculus. She is a member of the Superintendent's executive board, the president of the Allegany County Association of Student Councils, the vice president of the National Honor Society, the senior class president, and the musical director of the HRM documentary. Hana is also a member of student council, the chorus, the concert choir, Grace Notes, and the jazz band. She plays the violin at children's hospitals and museums, volunteers her time at the Senior Citizen Prom, as a tutor, and by fundraising for the Miner statue and with the Allegany County's Maryland Census Board. Hana is a Student Volunteer of the Month, a Maryland Women of Tomorrow nominee, and placed 3rd at Telford International Competition, 1st place at the American String Teacher's Association Competition, and earned the Spanish seal of biliteracy. Hana plans to attend Frostburg State University or the University of Maryland College Park and hopes to pursue a career in musical performance and as a mechanic engineer.
