Sophia has enrolled in several Honors and AP courses, including Honors journalism II, English I, II, and III, trigonometry, pre-calculus, geometry, earth and space science, chemistry, biology, U.S. history, and government, as well as AP environmental science. She is the captain of the Sentinelettes and the FCA huddle leaders and is a member of the National Honor Society. Sophia is a Star Student and a Student of the Week at Fort Hill and volunteers her time with church fundraisers, with Fields of Faith, FCA Power Camp, Heritage Days, car wash fundraisers, and with the summer lunchbox program. She plans to attend Frostburg State University and hopes to pursue a career as a wildlife biologist.
