Credit Recovery


    ACPS is pleased to offer an additional way for students to achieve success and graduate from high school. The After School Credit Recovery Program is an opportunity for students to work toward completing their graduation requirements. Recovery of credits relates to courses that have already been attempted without a passing grade. Students may recover up to three (3) courses per school year but only one per session. The deadline to register for Session 1 is Friday, October 8, 2021. Click HERE to register. 

    Session 1: November 2 - December 21
    Session 2: February 1 - March 17
    Session 3: March 29 - May 18


    • Dates: Mostly Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (Nov 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 30, Dec 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 21)
    • Time: 3-5 p.m. IN PERSON at Allegany, Fort Hill, and Mountain Ridge High Schools
    • Attendance: Students are expected to attend class in person every day of the scheduled rotation. Excessive tardiness will not be tolerated. Attendance is mandatory and will be documented daily. Absences are not acceptable and may result in removal from the recovery class. Students who do not adhere to this requirement will not earn the recovery credit.
    • Cost: There is no cost for the year 2021-2022.
