PSAT UPDATE: Due to current COVID-19 metrics, ACPS will not hold the in-school PSAT on January 26, 2021. To date, The College Board has not scheduled any additional PSAT make-up dates.Students are encouraged to use the following links for PSAT/SAT practice and practice tests:
SAT Payment Update: SAT and Dual Enrollment fees can now be paid through a student's PayPams account. The SAT fee deadline is September 30, 2020, and the Dual Enrollment fee deadline is October 30, 2020.
SAT TEST UPDATE: Due to restrictions by College Board, ACPS is not permitted to limit the SAT Saturday administrations solely to Allegany County students. This posed a potential health safety to our students, their families, and our community by allowing students from other counties and states to take the test in Allegany County. ACPS has therefore cancelled the Saturday SAT administrations for August and September. Instead, ACPS will hold two "SAT Day" opportunities during the school day in October for all juniors and seniors. These opportunities will be limited to Allegany County Public School students. Students will register with ACPS for this opportunity, NOT on the College Board site.
SAT School Day dates will be October 14, 2020, and October 27, 2020. Click HERE to complete the registration. Registration and money is due by September 30, 2020.Statistics show an approximate 40 point gain when six (6) or more hours of practice/prep work is applied.
