Allegany County Public Schools’ Superintendent, Mr. Jeffrey S. Blank, has announced the appointment of the new Administrative Coordinator of Community Schools. Mrs. Jenny Ramsey assumed this role, effective January 15, 2025.

Mrs. Ramsey has been an employee of Allegany County Public Schools for 21 years. Over the years, she has held several teaching positions within the system and has spent the last 6 years in administration. She currently holds the titles of Supervisor of Gifted and Talented and Coordinator of Teacher of the Year for ACPS.

“I have had the pleasure of connecting with and learning from our ACPS professionals and school communities,” says Ramsey. “I look forward to continuing to build partnerships and work together to help support our community with focuses on health, mental health, academic, and extracurricular supports.”
