Welcome

  • Welcome to the Center for Career and Technical Education. CCTE has been teaching high school students in Allegany County since 1972. The Career Center offers students 15 different skill areas to choose from. Academic courses offered at the Career Center equals that of any of the county high schools. At CCTE we believe that academic strength is a valuable commodity in all career paths, and our academic teachers are among the best in the county. Although our students are ready for employment upon certification, the Career Center has many articulation agreements with distinguished colleges and trade schools that allow students to earn college credits while attending CCTE.
