Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration

To enroll your child for kindergarten in you will need to provide your child's:
- Birth certificate
- Current immunization records. **Students enrolling in a Maryland Public School for the first time must have a physical and complete a Health Inventory by the student's doctor within a nine month period before child enters school or within a six month period after entering school. Forms are available at the school.
- Copy of Social Security Card (if not, please have number)
- Proof of residency - can consist of current rental/lease agreement, insurance bill, utility bill, bank statement, first class mail or documentation from a government agency (excludes driver's license). Documentation MUST be current and "to-date". In instances where the owner or lessee of a home in which the child lives is not the parent or guardian, the owner/lessee must provide a signed, notarized affidavit identifying all occupants living at that address plus one of the proofs of residency listed above.
Please note changes in school schedules in relation to inclement weather situations. When a two-hour delay is called, there will be no a.m. pre-kindergarten. If school is dismissed two hours early, the a.m. pre-kindergarten students will stay until dismissal and ride the bus home with the other students. There will be no p.m. pre-kindergarten in the case of an early dismissal.

School offices are open throughout the summer Monday through Thursday. *Call the school at 301-724-3285 to make sure an administrator is in the building before coming in to enroll.
