The Cove

New to the Allegany High School Guidance Department, this year is the Cove.  The Cove is a tranquil place designed for a variety of counseling purposes.  The Cove is used to implement individual /small group counseling, resolution, mindfulness, relaxation and restorative practices. The Cove promotes a calming atmosphere with added manipulatives to help reduce stress.  The utilization of soft lighting and aromatherapy helps create the calming atmosphere needed to assist students through overwhelming situations.
