  • Maryland Business Roundtable for Education’s Next Generation Scholars Program to See First Group of Allegany County Seniors Graduate in Spring 2021

    The 2020–2021 academic year will see more than 595 students from the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education’s (MBRT) Next Generation Scholars program prepare to graduate from high schools in Allegany, Caroline, Dorchester, Kent and Wicomico counties, including 42 from Fort Hill High School.

  • Notice of Change in Traffic Pattern around John Humbird, South Penn Elementary Schools

    As a result of the shortened school day for elementary schools during the hybrid learning model, Allegany County Public Schools, in cooperation with the City of Cumberland, have made temporary changes to the traffic patterns in front of two schools to better coincide with dismissal times.
