Allegany County Public Schools aims to help improve the health and well-being of their employees. ACPS has partnered with Cigna to provide an Employee Wellness Program, available to all ACPS staff. This program focuses on five simple parts.
Physical Well-Being
Encourages employees to improve their physical health through nutrition, physical
activity, and preventive care.
Emotional Well-Being
Educates employees on mindfulness, stress reduction, resilience, and self-care.
Environmental Well-Being
Fosters a supportive culture by making changes to the environment, policies, and
systems.
Financial Well-Being
Incentivizes employees to drive engagement and connect them with resources for their
financial growth.
Social Well-Being
Enhances and grows relationships and promote philanthropic and selfless acts.
