Evergreen Heritage Center: Summer Camp, Summer 2014

Some local youth spent part of their summer participating in the Evergreen Heritage Center Summer Camp.  While at camp, they were exposed to various hands-on STEM focused interdisciplinary activities that included:
  • Fish printing (gyotaku)
  • Tree paintings
  • Habitat exploration
Campers played games and worked on engineering projects including a solar cooker to make s'mores and designing blades for a wind turbine.
