The ACPS 5th and 6th grade honor bands will perform a joint concert in the Fort Hill auditorium on Wednesday, March 6 at 7pm.  The 5th grade honor band is led by Sarah Jackson, Janet Jones, BJ Lewis and Harold McClay.  The 6th grade honor band is led by Laura Godfrey, Chris Kellermeyer, Michael Lee and Heather Wiliams.  Each band will perform challenging music they have rehearsed on Tuesdays after school since January.  Admission is free.

 

On Thursday, March 7, the ACPS All-County Orchestra concert will take place in the Fort Hill Auditorium at 6:30pm.  The concert will feature the Junior Orchestra conducted by Pat Aaron, Jacob Blank and Eric Foreman.  The Middle School Orchestra will be led by guest conductor from Prince George's County Public Schools, Jennifer Murray.  The Senior High Orchestra will be conducted by Peter Lewis, Band and Orchestra Director at Frostburg State University.  Admission is free.
