Superintendent Appoints New Supervisor of Federal Programs

Allegany County Public Schools’ Superintendent, Mr. Jeffrey Blank, has announced the appointment of the new Supervisor of Federal Programs, Mr. Daniel Clark. He will assume this role effective July 1, 2024.

Mr. Clark has been an employee of Allegany County Public Schools for over 27 years. Mr. Clark has held several positions within the system, including Title I teacher, teaching grades four and five, and being a coordinating teacher. He has also held the administration positions of Assistant Principal at Mount Savage School and Principal of both George’s Creek Elementary and Northeast Elementary School.

Mr. Clark is a graduate of Frostburg State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood / elementary education, and a master’s degree in administration / supervision.

“I truly appreciate the wonderful connections I have forged over the years with students, teachers, staff, and communities,” says Mr. Clark. “I anticipate fostering many more of these meaningful relationships as I hope to contribute to Allegany County Public Schools on a broader scale in my new role.”
