Colin Sheehe and Daniel Ly, Allegany High School FFA members, competed at the Regional Prepared Public Speaking contest at Clear Spring High School on Friday, March 8th.

Daniel Ly received a silver medal award for placing 4th in the competition with his prepared speech about hydrogen fuel cells called, "What is the Most Abundant Element?" while Colin Sheehe placed 1st in the competition and received the gold medal award for his prepared speech, "Municipalities are Restricting Renewable Energy. Now What?"

Both Colin and Daniel will advance to the state FFA Prepared Public Speaking competition in June 2024 in Garrett County, MD.
