Mrs. Crystal Bender, and Mr. Max Green were recently sworn into office as elected members of the Allegany County Board of Education by Allegany County Clerk of the Circuit Court, Dawne Lindsey. 

This will be Crystal Bender’s second term on the board. She is the Operations Manager at ServiceMaster of Allegany County, which her family owns and operates. 

"I am grateful for the support of our community to entrust me with another 4 year term as a member of the Board of Education,” says Bender. "I will continue to work hard and do my best to represent Allegany County."

Max Green is a Principal Technology Solutions Partner with the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms.  

"I am deeply honored to have been sworn in as a member of the Allegany County Board of Education. This is a tremendous opportunity to serve our community, and I am committed to working collaboratively to ensure our schools are places where all students can thrive,” says Green. “I am excited to partner with parents, teachers, administrators, and community members to make a lasting impact on the future of our schools and to uphold our shared vision for a better, stronger Allegany County."
