Outdoor School Photograph

5th Grade Outdoor School Begins

September 8 - October 15 

Western MD 4H Center in Swanton Md

All ACPS 5th graders participate in outdoor school at the 4H camp in Garrett County. Each elementary school for one week. Multiple elementary schools are scheduled for each week. It takes 6 weeks for all to attend and experience the program.

Patriot Day

On September 11, Allegany County Public Schools joins communities across the nation in remembering those who lost their lives in the September 11, 2001 attacks. We also honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders, service members, and individuals who came together to help others.
