Allegany CountyPublic Schools

All Allegany County Public Schools, breakfast and lunch are free to ALL students. This is because of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), a USDA program that allows low-income schools to offer meals to all students at no cost and without requiring applications from families. Free/Reduced applications will not be distributed to households at the beginning of the year or throughout the school year as they are not needed to obtain a free meal.  

Families can continue to use PayPams to pay for extra items (a la carte) that are not part of the free meal offered to students. 

Families can also add funds to lunch accounts using cash or a check. Parents and students can deposit cash or a check directly in the cafeteria. 

Make the checks payable to the school cafeteria. Please include the student's name and/or the student’s five-digit lunch pin.
