County-Wide Exhibition Runs April 22–26 at City Place and coincides with Frostburg Arts Walk
CUMBERLAND, Md. — April 13, 2026 — Allegany County Public Schools invites the community to celebrate the creativity and talent of student artists from across the county at its annual Student Art Showcase. The exhibition will be on display at City Place at 14 S. Water Street in Frostburg from Wednesday, April 22 through Sunday, April 26.
An opening reception will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22. The showcase brings together visual artwork from student artists at all levels across Allegany County. Its exhibition hours are as follows:
- Wednesday, April 22: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Opening Reception 6 to 7:30 PM)
- Thursday, April 23: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Friday, April 24: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Saturday, April 25: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Frostburg Arts Walk)
- Sunday, April 26: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Frostburg Arts Walk
The ACPS Student Art Showcase is timed to coincide with the annual Frostburg Arts Walk on Saturday, April 25. Visitors are encouraged to plan a full afternoon in downtown Frostburg, which will feature open businesses, local artisans, and live performances from local performers throughout the day.
