CUMBERLAND, Md. – June 1, 2026 – Allegany County Public Schools will host an Open House from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, for the student-built house located at 13514 Old Cresaptown Road in Cresaptown. All are welcome to attend.
The house was constructed by Center for Career & Technical Education students, with support from Belt Construction, Inc., Harbel Construction, Carpenters Local 423 and IBEW Local 307.
The primary residence is a three-bedroom layout encompassing 1,500 square feet. It has a heated and roughed-in 1,500-square-foot basement, a 10x18-foot Trex deck, an 8x20-foot front porch, and a 22x21-foot garage. The Allegany County Building Trades Education Foundation has priced the home at $350,000. Charis Realty is managing the sale.
