Elaine Davis holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Frostburg State University (2010), a Master of Science in Sustainable Development and Conservation Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park (2001), and a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology from Frostburg State University (1999). She is currently in her eighth year of teaching in Allegany County, and teaches 8th grade science at Mount Savage Middle School. Davis serves as Green Team leader, developing the school’s Green School program focused on recycling, pollinator gardens, tree plantings, and other student-led environmental initiatives.
