Brittany McMahon

Westernport Elementary School 

Brittany McMahon is a conscientious and devoted educator. She is a 2008 graduate of Frostburg State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary/Middle Education and a specialization in Social Sciences. In 2015, she earned a Master of Science degree in School Librarianship from McDaniel College. Brittany will complete a Post Master’s Certificate from Frostburg State University in Educational Leadership in May 2021. Currently a second grade teacher at Westernport Elementary School, Brittany gained vast elementary level experience over her eleven-year career and has taught reading intervention, first, third, and fifth grades. She has been a member of the School Improvement Team since 2011 and served as Chair and Co-Chair from 2014-2018. Brittany has also served on various curriculum committees within ACPS and as a trainer for new technologies.
